A pile of slop
LIVE ARCHIVE INDEXYour personal slop pile.
Opening your saved tracks…
The next helping.
What’s in the bucket?
Slop is a lightweight discovery prototype for music already hosted on the Internet Archive. A small starter shelf gives you up to two sample tracks from each selected release. You can also search the wider Archive and play its audio directly.
Listening queue
Choose Play next beside a track to line it up. Your queue lasts for this visit; heart tracks to save them for later.
Follow the sound
“More like this” matches broad tags on the starter shelf and varies the artists shown. These are simple metadata matches. Artist, track, and rights information come from the original upload. Follow Full release & rights to hear the rest.
Keep what you find
Hearts save tracks in this browser, with no account. Export a JSON backup from Saved and import it on another device. Importing adds new tracks and keeps existing saves. The file contains references, not audio. Private browsing and clearing site data can remove your local copy.
Source and licence
The interface is MIT licensed, has no build dependencies, and can be hosted as static files. The music retains its own rights: check each release before reusing it.
